Helmut Newton

Helmut Newton was born in 1920 to a wealthy button manufacturer. His father enrolled him in the American School of Berlin, but he was expelled because he chose to dream about photography, swimming, and girls instead of completing his schoolwork.
In 1936, Newton became an apprentice under the Berlin photographer Elsie Simon, a.k.a. Yva. After studying for two years with Yva, Newton moved to Singapore and accepted a position as a photojournalist for the Singapore Straits Times. He was fired two weeks later due to incompetence.
Newton then moved to Australia in 1940 and served five years in the Australian army. After he was discharged from the army, Newton opened a small photography studio in Melbourne.
In 1948, Newton married the actress June Brunell.
Newton began contributing fashion photos to French Vogue in 1961 and continued to do so for twenty-five years. During this time, he also was a regular fashion contributor to Linea Italiana, Queen, Nova, Jardin des Modes, Marie-Claire, Elle, and American, Italian and German Vogue.
Helmut Newton is best known for his fashion and nude photography.

The Cat

I still remember the first time I met he, he was only three months old. In that time, he is very smell, I can even pick up he just by one hand. And he was very afraid of me when I pick him up.

His flu is black, gray and white, you will feel soft and comfortable when you touch he. His eyes are very big and black, but if you see it under the sun, you will find it turn into brown. His nose is smell and sensitive, if somebody touch his nose, he will angry and want to bit that people. The mouth of it looks very smell, but it can open to very big, especially when he was ate.

It was a lazy cat, he has to sleep almost twenty hours a day everyday. In his awake time, he likes to playing with people or chase bugs. Now, it is three years old, and become very big and fat. I can cot even carry it, and he does not afraid of me anymore, but in my mind, he is the cutest cat in the world.

Practice to make the poly mold, try to change it color or put something inside.
Poly smells terrible, and it bad for health, so we are wearing the mask when we are practice.

I put too more hardener, so it become very hot and finally break.

Poly is one kind of chemical liquid; it will become hard and transparent solid if put the hardener in it, and it is very easy to change color , so people usually use it to made a mold.This time, our new project is design a new umbrella. This umbrella should looks like Bauhaus style, and the handle have made by poly.

Because the porcelain with hollow and the glass with sand blasting looks very different, so I make a big change with my design chart.I still keep the confederate rose, but it raise up from two into four, and I also put two butterflies on it. I want it will look like the the garden in spring.

After I finish the papper model, I beginning to make the product. However, almost as soon as I start to search for the materials, I encounter the problem.The porcelain can not cut, but other materials can not do what I want. After thinking for a few days, I decided to change the porcelain into glass, and change hollow into sand blasting.

For seeing what the finished products will look like, I use the papper plate to make the papper moeel.Athough it is very difficult to cut and spent long time, but it looks like what I want.

For choose the best pattern, I look for internet and a lot of books about papper cutting. Finally, I choose the Confederate rose.Confederate rose is the original flower in china, due to it is very beautiful, some old Chinese dynasties use is as a national flower.

The dunnage I want to do is tableware. I want to combine the Chinese traditional paper cutting and porcelain, and the pattern on it I want to make it hollow.

Paper cutting is one kind of the traditional art from the old China. People used to stick paper cutting on the windows, doors or walls in Chinese New Year for bring lucky. This time, we will combine paper cutting and our dunnage to make that dunnage more beautiful and more valuable.

Necklace

The first time I saw it is in the department store. In the past, I had no interesting in any necklace or decorations, but when I saw it, I immediately want to have it.
However, the price of this necklace is very expensive, and I do not have hobbit to save money.
In order to buy this necklace, I took a part time job in the holiday. After one month, I earn enough money and went to buy it, but when I got there, I find that necklace was sellout. The sale man told me that the last one was bough by a woman before one hour. I was very disappoint and went home.
When I got home, I was so surprised to find that necklace was in the box lying on my table. The fact is my mother thinks that I really spent a lot of sprit for it, so she decided to buy it for me. Now I have a lot of necklace and decorations, but it stills my favorite.

About Me

Since I have the memory, my family is very simple. My Mother is a teacher in cram school and my Father is a businessman, he has to go abroad almost every month for his work. I am the only child in my family, so I used to do every thing by myself, and I like to go to strange place for adventure.
I like travel, because travel can make me to realize different cultures in different places, and I think that different is very interesting. Although all my parents have to work, my family still went to travel almost every summer and winter vacation, sometimes in Taiwan, sometimes abroad. The country that I have visited I like the most is Czech, the building in there is very beautiful and the life in there is slow, people can feel really relax in Czech. And the country that I want to visit now is Egypt, because I am interest in it unique culture.
I hate dogs and bugs, and afraid of them. I like cats, some people think cats are indifferent, but I do not agree with them, I think that maybe cat can not as zeal as dogs, but when you feel sad, cat will always there with you.I like ocean, because every time when I see the ocean, I can feel the really freedom. Now, study in design, I wish that one day my works can like the ocean, give people the feeling of freedom.
